So go ahead. Suppose hypothetically that the Russians DID hack the DNC. Suppose it was even in favor of Trump. So…..... My question is, and drumroll please! I've been waiting for ONE liberal to explain it to me... How can you ABSOLVE yourselves from the CONTENT of the emails? They PROVED corruption, REGARDLESS of WHO hacked them. So I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to explain to me, how you can sit there and blame Russia for hacking, but not answer the question about the CONTENT of the emails. Please, I'm still waiting...

I'm sure if the Russians had hacked the RNC they would have found damaging content as well. Emails are supposed to be private.But the real meddling was done by Russian social media bots planting fake stories that gullible people like you ate up. And what does it matter if it was 17 agencies or only the top four? Does that make it any less true? Does that make the story Fake News? And if a domestic person or agency had carries out the hacks, they would be prosecuted. IF Trump's campaign colluded with the Russians it was to avoid that very real fact.
I will have to agree that I was taken in by the number 17, not that the assessment of the four top agencies with purview is any less significant. But is you look at the other 13, many do not cover this area. The are the Defense Intelligence Agency, Department of State – Bureau of Intelligence and Research, Department of Homeland Security – Office of Intelligence and Analysis, Drug Enforcement Administration – Office of National Security Intelligence, Department of the Treasury – Office of Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Energy – Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Army Military Intelligence, Office of Naval Intelligence, Marine Corps Intelligence, and Coast Guard Intelligence. You can see that they would know little about Russian meddling in the first place. I think the confusion came from the statement in the report that "it is the unanimous conclusion of the US intelligence community…" That got conflated to mean all 17. The NYT now realizes it and has corrected the story. It shows they are committed to the truth, not that they are fake news.

Even after the correction, the Times quickly returned to its pattern of deceiving its readers regarding the U.S. intelligence assessment. On June 30, a Times article reported: “Mr. Trump has repeatedly cast doubt on the unanimous conclusion of United States intelligence agencies that Russia sought to interfere in the 2016 race.”
The phrasing “unanimous conclusion” again suggests that all 17 intelligence agencies are in accord, albeit without specifically saying so, a journalistic sleight of hand that raises further doubts about the objectivity and honesty of the Times on this issue.
The Times’ belated correction — and its new deceptive formulation — underscore the growing sense that the U.S. mainstream media has joined in a political vendetta against Trump and has cast aside professional standards to the point of repeating false claims designed to denigrate him.
That, in turn, plays into Trump’s Twitter complaints that he and his administration are the targets of a “witch hunt” led by the “fake news” media, a grievance that appears to be energizing his supporters and could discredit whatever ongoing investigations eventually conclude. -
You really have to learn to use that edit button. Replying to your own posts is like talking to yourself and makes the thread unreadable. The declassified report was entitled Intelligence Community assessment, but in the first paragraph of scope, it specifies that it represnets intelligence gathered by the CIA, NSA and FBI. Wow. What's missing from that report is WHO wrote it. Who was the AUTHOR? If you don't have someone to counter-question, it's useless. They are vaguely making a masked and cowardly report, and it's also an OLD report. You can't just make blanket statements and accusations and expect that everyone JUST BELIEVE YOU. That's been your problem from the start. That's why you admitted that the narrative was wrong, that 17 agencies didn't say what you said they did. Without the ability to question the author, it's just as fake as fake news, ANONYMOUS. It has no relevance if the person making "factual statements," can't be questioned, and I do not Trust the intelligence community. They have already been caught in too many lies.

Ok, I'm still waiting. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz stepped down not because the Russians hacked her. Not because Seth Rich exposed the emails. But BECAUSE she KNEW that the exposed emails PROVED their FRAUD. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. You want to sit there and continue blaming Russia, but you NEVER admit that Debbie stepped down BECAUSE of the CONTENT, where they LITERALLY committed FRAUD. You don't get it. It doesn't matter if someone hacked us. What matters is what they EXPOSED. You still refuse to answer that. It's a deflection of the worst degree and magnitude. You will not, and cannot ADMIT that what was revealed, regardless of who hacked them, was fraud. That's why you lost the election. And that's why you will lose in 2020. That's why you've lost all the special elections since. Because it doesn't matter that you were hacked or exposed, what matters is that the CONTENT of the exposure PROVED your beloved liars were corrupt and fraudulent, and that's why we say LOCK HER UP!

Did you read the report, or even skim it? You dismiss the report by 4 major national intelligence agencies out of hand, but repeat the debunked conspiracy theory that Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails, which evn Fox ans Sean Hannity had to retract. Talk about selective hearing!

That's right. And yet they keep on keepin' on with this retracted story by the New York Times that "17 Agencies Found Trump in Collusion with Russia."
It was FAKE, Very FAKE, and FRAUDULENT. It was NEVER True. But you guys believed them and used it to base ALL your conclusions. Sorry, you LOST AGAIN! And I'm really sorry for those of you who aren't paying attention to the REAL news, just because it isn't what you WANT to hear!

A White House Memo article on Monday about President Trump’s deflections and denials about Russia referred incorrectly to the source of an intelligence assessment that said Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during last year’s presidential election. The assessment was made by four intelligence agencies — the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency. The assessment was not approved by all 17 organizations in the American intelligence community.
So I guess you don't believe the CIA, FBI, DNI and NSA? The others did not deny the intelligence, they just did not approve it. Keep dreaming.

I'm not going to waste my time dissecting all of this, but let's be aware of some things. Those 17 organizations or 4 organizations do not go making assessments, nor can they make assessments on information that they haven't even investigated to any degree. Even when they do make assessments, they not only don't make them public, they don't even share their assessments with the other agencies! The FBI and CIA are notorious for not sharing any information with each other.
Also, at the time, the FBI had that nitwit Comey as it's director, whom neither the left nor the right nor other FBI agents trusted. The rest of those buffoons were appointees of Osama's eight years occupying the White House.So.. go plant your turnip in Rosie O'Donnell.

The four agencies did investigate it. They could not make public the details of the investigation because it would have compromised sources and methods. Comey is high respected by his fellow FBI agents. In fact, they recently wore "Comey is my Homey" T-shirts to celebrate Family Day.

Where is Frederick's proof that other FBI agents did not trust Comey? The Deputy Director praised him to high heaven and stated that was the general feeling in the Agency. Trump had to cancel a visit to the FBI headquarters after he fired Comey because the WH feared he would not be well received.
