This is why we voted for Trump, these are the kinds of people that we are fighting against. You simply do not understand what is going on or who you are supporting, or how the world really works, unless you are part of the problem, or just too much of a coward to do the right thing. WE are prevailing against global dictatorship run by bankers and YOU are promoting it. You are committing suicide, homicide, and genocide through your willful and deliberate ignorance. It is a very sad and pathetic thing to watch.

I am not defending Mika and Joe. I barely was aware of them before Trump's tweets. They are adults, I am sure they can take it. But it is highly inappropriate for the President of the United States to get "down and dirty." As I mentioned earlier in this thread, that's what surrogates are for. Let Sean Spicer go apeshit on them with a leaf blower. Have Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity call them whatever you want, but the President should stay above it. Trump owes the country that to preserve the dignity of the office for those who follow him.

I guess you can't read, or don't read my posts. I never said he should let unjustified criticism go unchallenged, I said he should delegate rebuttal to his surrogates and stay above the fray. But you, and I imagine many of his supporters, like it when he rolls around in the mud with his adversaries like two cheap strippers.

Nah, I disagree. I'm glad Trump is getting in the mud. It's time someone do the dirty work. That's how you drain that nasty swamp. It isn't like two cheap strippers. It's a bunch of blatant liars who are being exposed and he's holding them up to the light by the neck. That's what we need. And Project Veritas is going to be releasing bigger and bigger stings every day. This is the beginning. The revelations are just beginning. I have no doubt you will be shocked and disappointed. It is not above the Presidency, to wash the dishes when the dishes need to be done. It's not above the manager, to unclog the toilet when the elected plumber is paid to let it spill over. Well, we disagree on what the role of the President should be. But Trump's relationship with the truth is tenuous at best. He hasn't drained an ounce from the swamp, he has perpetuated with his cronyism, refusing to appoint anyone to any post, no matter how inconsequential, if they ever criticized him in the campaign, Not to mention the billionaire-glutted cabinet. What you didn't mention is that Obama got pretty much an 8 year free pass by the media. There has never been a president that has been protected by the media the way Obama was. Not even Hillary got the special "hands off" treatment that Obama got. There was a prominent person, whom I won't name, that HATED Obama, but when interviewed, he would often say that his greatest fear is that Obama might get assassinated, because if that happened, he would become a martyr rather than have people eventually realize what a horrible president Obama is (was). We are seeing Obama's legacy now. Even after winning the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Obama managed to lost them both. Obama also succeeded in propping up the corrupt dynasty of the Castros in Cuba, the evil mullahs in Iran, allowed China to militarize the South China Sea, gave birth to ISIS, and potentially forced the world into WW3 by allowing the cancerous North Korea to grow out of control.

I love how raphjd attempts to conflate two seperate issues as being the same, therefore, if you agree with one issue you are also agreeing to another.
He does this often and this is a poor form of argumentation because he does not attempt to create any logical connection to which a reasonable person could deam two such events as equating one another.

Obama set a high bar for Presidential behavior. Compared to where Trump is now, that bar is about as high as that North Korean missile flew. Even if CNN was the most evil news outlet on Earth, it is inappropriate for the president to be punching its effigy. Could you imagine Obama tweeting a meme of him beating up a hooded KKK member? Obama would never allow it.

CNN has had to retract stories and fire employees for putting out lies. Here's an idea. I will declare that the President was unpresidential in his tweet, if you admit that CNN lied, instead of conveniently ignoring that and pointing the finger at him. Admit they lied. Did I ever deny that CNN retracted a story that was poorly sourced, did not meet its own standards and fired the reporters. Ok they lied. How does that give the president the right to virtually punch them out? They retracted the story, and fired the employees. What do you want? A firing squad?
And no matter what you think of me, I have never been resistant to accepting known facts, or as Carl Bernstein puts it, "The best obtainable version of the truth." I don't need to accept that Obama is the devil's whore just because you believe it. Even if you had something back that up with, that characterization is your opinion. As far as I know, there is no National Devil's Whore Registry.
