People are worried about the rise of militant Islam though, and not without reason. Open slather migration from islamic countries hasn't seemed to achieve anything useful, westerners are less secure, and strictish Muslims feel highly uncomfortable with western norms. I realize that Anglo-American foreign policy and military interventions have contributed to this, but it's fair to say that Islam is not a force for good anywhere on the planet. Realize I'm generalizing, but wherever Islam is entrenched,
1. Human rights are diminished, especially the rights of women and minorities
2. Weird repressions and abuses are evident, such as taboos on touching women in public, widespread molesting of young boys (e.g. bacha bazi), right to marry prepubescent girls (see 1)
3. General and inexplicable acts of terror, often against coreligionists.Now whether or not American neocons 'get' the quran, certainly ISIS feel they do and can quote plenty of textual support in their favour…

The left knows these so called refugees will vote for them. It also pushes the left's agenda forward of progress toward communism where the working man is taxed to death to pay for others who refuse to work he'll eventually need government assistance. Obama's plant to fundamentally transform America is to eliminate the middle class. If the left gets its way we'll all be living in cities in the same shitty projects.

Okay, so you just pivoted from you point about Islam being anti-gay, which I challenged and you brought no opposition to.
Now, you are claiming that Islam promotes pedophilia, which is not true. Many of the old religious texts were written at a time where the average human life span was very young compared to now. To compare their standards to our mother standards does not do it any justice.
We could go back and forth over this, but you've brought little, if any evidence at all as to why Islam is any worse verses any other Abrahamic faith.

I'm against any form of religious extremism/fundamentalism. I don't think it is just to say that Islam its self is an extremist religion.
The truth is most people who follow Islam, or any of the Abrahamic faiths don't necessarily follow the text as it is written, and their is usually an emphasis on "figurative language" used in the text.

The HUGE difference : the religious text like the bible is the word of men and so can be interpreted. The religious text of islam is the direct word of God hence cant be interpreted.

Do you know that texts from the bible are shared by Islam? For example, the creation story and stories in Genesis.

I'm a liberal blue state resident and I don't "love" islam or know any non-muslim here who "loves" islam. I would describe liberals' opinion towards islam as ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Liberals think that terrorists are scum that should be killed, the more the better. We also think people who are jerks to muslims who aren't committing any crimes are pretty bad people. Because being a big jerk to anyone who isn't committing a crime is a jerk move.

Also a lot of those anti-gay gov policies mostly come from the culture of those countries not necessarily their religion, but I don't expect you do see past the crescent and star.

Every day when I open the front page of this site there is some kind of bashing of liberals as a topic in this forum on the top, a so called discussion, but nothing more than scolding, bashing and trolling. No fucking discussion topic at all despite the rules. What is this site, some kind of Gay Alt Right site?
When you read the rules they are bias and prohibit slamming the topic starter the same way he starts a topic. You can not just butt in because your sick and tired of reading that stupid alt right propaganda on the front page and if you do, you are immediately threatened with a ban.
