Okay, okay, so Kathy Griffin did some bad stuff, it was horrifying and grotesque. However, I do love seeing the Trumptards getting triggered, I guess some people can't take a "joke".

So much for artistic expression and protest.

A few things.  First, Kathy is different from other such instances in the past due to both her celebrity status and her contract with CNN.  Yes, she did have an employment contract with CNN when she posted this image, and even though CNN fired her, CNN's hesitation in doing so makes many ponder whether or not the media endorses this type of behavior against Trump.  This will hurt Democrats in the Rust Belt, whether you agree with what she did or not.

Second, those who threatened Presidents in the past were subject to Secret Service investigations, including Ted Nugent and the guy who burned Obama in effigy, and Madonna after her White House threats.  That means that those figures will be considered persona non grata for events at the White House and Presidential functions, hence why Nugent wasn't playing.  Now, if the Secret Service when evaluating this threat finds any emails, and they will subpeona Kathy's emails, that indicate she hopes some one will act on it, she will be charged with threatening the life of the President.  Let's hope she's not that stupid.

There are consequences for Free Speech.  If you do something stupid that embarrasses your employer, you will be fired.  Secret Service will ban you for Security reasons, and if Secret Service finds intent to act on that speech, you will be charged.  It was not a laughing matter for all the other nutjobs before, and it's not a laughing matter here.

Of course. She never should have apologized.

But then….why was Nugent allowed inside the White House?

I was actually surprised she did.  She was a close friend of Joan Rivers who had a policy to NEVER apologize.  I can't judge her for the apology.  It was the right thing to do.

She turned me off years ago when she called Scott Browns daughter a prostitute.  I'm no fan of Brown but it was just unnecessary.

Well, that was a little too much. On the other hand, it never seemed to bother the Republicans any when Ted Nugent actively threatened to kill Obama and Hillary. I guess that was all just in good fun, huh?

Secret Service protocol is you go on a No Events list.  That can be overruled by the President, but even if overruled Secret Service assigns extra agents to tag you & you must be accompanied at all times by a White House staffer.

Maybe if you stopped thinking liberals are so "lovey" you wouldn't feel the pain so hard the next time one of them knees you in the balls. Silly little snowflake.

I didn't say liberals are the lovely ones, it's what you claim.    You guys claim to be "peaceful" while setting a girl's hair on fire for wearing a Trump hat.

Apparently @raphid thinks all liberals are setting girls' hair on fire and attack people they don't agree with. Someone is drinking the conservative kool-aide…

I think Kathy is just having her Madonna "I need to push boundaries to stay hip and relevant with the kids" moment here.

I like how everyone is chalking it up to politics. No, it's clear that Kathy is just desperate for relevancy and attention.

LOL. People are actually bringing up how the "left is shooting itself in the foot". If your politics amount to viewing one entire political ideology by through the actions of one old, haggered comedian, then you might want to reconsider them.

                                Kathy isn't "the left".

Kathy is all the old has-beens who the kids once loved but is now the grandma nobody ever wants to call.

I'm pretty anti-Trump myself and I gotta say that little stunt just came off as desperate. I can't identify with that. Who's that appeal to?

President Covfefe says at least a dozen stupid things a day. She could have worked with that. She's a comedian. But, no, she took the edgy, desperate, attention-seeking route.

In the words of President Pussy-Grabber: SAD!

                                  :bukkake: :anal: :bj2: :cum: :hump:

Not all lefties are like that. Not all righties either. There are loonies on the fringe of all sides. Unfortunately the fringes are becoming more mainstream. Let's agree to disagree respectfully…

A LONG LONG time ago, Kathy Griffin used to be funny.  When she ran out of funny material, she then began resorting to viciously attacking celebrities and even ordinary people in the most vile ways imaginable.  She reveled in criticizing what people wore to galas, and routinely outed many gay people and even claimed that many celebs who are actually straight are gay, or cheating on their spouses, etc.
Griffin's antics didn't stop there, she destroyed her own husband's life as well.  She is probably best known for attacking people on live TV during the annual New Year's Celebrations.  She would be as vulgar and vicious as she pleased, and it all got laughed off by nervous Anderson Pooper.

Well, after her stunt holding the severed bloody head of Donald Trump (which is quite realistic - and apparently when Barron Trump first saw that image he thought it was real), Griffin's upcoming shows have been CANCELLED!

I bet she'll have more to say though, and when she does, the world will see it. But career-wise, definitely OVER.
