Lol, I actually have a friend who is a flat-earther… other than that he's a nice guy. And previous to that he was all into young-earth creationism soooo it's an improvement? Maybe?

NASA says it's a sphere, then says it's a pear, then says it's an oblate spheroid. Over one million have now come to the conclusion that it's flat. Did you not get the memo? What do you think of this new philosophy? Is the Sun actually 93 MILLION miles away? Are we really spinning at 1,000 miles per hour exactly? I've got news for days about this, so if you're tired of Trump let's discuss it. I believe the Earth is NOT a sphere. This is the new topic of the world, so let us discuss. The Earth is totally flat. You have to account for both the curvature of the earth and the effects of gravity. It's called ballistics and the US Navy is really, really good at that. That straight line you speak, is really a very flat parabola made by gravity pulling the missile down at 32 feet per second, and the earth is really, really big. At 3960 miles, 100 miles will only get you an angle of about 0.025 radians or 1.6 degrees.
