a chastity lock for guys is not dangerous. since it mostly keeps the penis from achieving it's full form. it would be a bit painful but nothing too difficulty to make a penis deflate. it would i agree also be incredibly frustrating.

It depends on the context it's used within the Fetish realm, specifically within a Master / Slave relationship where the Master uses it on his Slave. The control and power the Master has over his slave is quite interesting, imo.
