Chroma Shift detection / mitigation?

I just read the following post on Chroma Shift anti-piracy methods: https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=20023.0
I paid attention to the date so I understand it wasn't written recently… the thing is, I've already read and come across warnings about this type of tagging technology in place at several sites I've subscribed to over time. With that said, I have a few questions:

Is embedded user tracking a concern for the community? If so, what (if any) options are there for detecting and removing / altering / corrupting the embedded tag so that my videos don't trace back to me?

How do you guys handle this if it is an issue? I actually pay for some content… I don't mind sharing but I don't want to get caught because of a digital thumbprint that I wasn't aware of...
