So, when will Vatican City recognize same-sex marriages! -
hum hum unfortunately it's not true… is just civil partnership but not marriage, and in the Italian civil code the gays partnerships are not considered as a family... so in the end not there is not the tie of the fidelity...

At last, I don't think marriage per se is in the forseable future since the Vatican is within and Italy despite all the appearances is a very catholic country where traditions means a lot, I just got the dual citizenship, my grandparents were Italian so trust me when I say they will be one of the last one to get the legal gay marriage in Europe.
