Hey guys, I'm developing a video game over the summer and wondered if there's anyone else out there doing something similar. I made a small trailer for my game just to show off some of the main mechanics. It's a grappling hook based 2D platformer I'm writing in C++. Great project Bro.! I toy around with making games a little also though I am not a programmer at all. I use a program called Game Maker freely and legally available at hxxp://www.yoyogames.com/gamemaker/. It is up to version 8 now I think. There is a pro Edition available for purchase but I never got far enough along to merit buying it.
If you need a beta tester let me know. I'd be happy to help.

Nah, I don't mind you posting screenshots. I'd like as many people to see it and get as much feedback as I can. I'd just really like to make a fun game, so all the comments and suggestions are welcome. This is my first attempt at programming a game in C++, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I'll try and see if I can post a build of the latest version so you guys can play it.

I'm always open to changing things around so if you have any comments or suggestions on anything ranging from art, sound, menus, ui to actual gameplay mechanics I'd love to get the feedback; it's still very much a work in progress. My only goal is to make a game people will find enjoyable. Hope you like it
