For me, no. My nipples are more pronounced than the 'boy nipples' I had prior. Mine have been pierced about twenty years. I only wear jewelry rarely. I have stretched mine to a 6-gauge before and that made them too large, so I took them out and it reduced the size back to prior size (pre 6-gauge).
