As far as I know, the only categories you can turn on/off are bisexual and straight and you can see that in your profile setting

EK is absolutely right that you can turn off those two broad categories.
But you can also go through the "Browse default categories" section and turn ON by ticking the individual boxes of only those categories you want to see. And saving the changes.
Alternatively you can just ignore stuff you don't want to see. That works for me
