Is there an easy to read guide for the basic rules of downloading for beginners?

I'm really not sure it's necessary.
You choose your client program.
You grab a torrent file.
You open the torrent and save it somewhere.Repeat as needed…
If you have no problems and are getting a decent speed, sit back. Oh, and leave the torrent seeding if you can, expecially here.
