Moving from being a 'lurker' to 'newbie' ?

I'm curious about what criteria is used for people using the forum for moving up the 'ranks' eg lurker -> newbie -> Jr member  etc.
I've seen explanations in the Guides/FAQ for moving up from 'user' to 'power user' for uploading/sharing, but none for these forum positions

Ascending these classes is based on the number of posts –

| Class | Number of posts |
| Lurker | 0 |
| Newbie | 3 |
| Jr. Member | 50 |
| Full Member | 100 |
| Sr. Member | 250 |
| Hero Member | 500 and above |

One way to progress quickly is to check out our Special Interest Groups & our Porn, Erotica & Perversion sections.  There are plenty of pictures and comics ::) to "comment" on.  One other good place is the jokes in our Off Topic section.  You can "rotfl" at lots of jokes there.

My personal favorite way is to start a topic of interest and get other members involved in the discussion.
