https://extratorrent.cc/ has a good selection of British TV
And there are some British newsgroups on usenet

there is private torrent site for brit's shows (cant remember now the name sorry). On kat you only get most popular stuff and with only seeders for few days after brodcast.
My advice would be to buy a vpn with an uk ip so you could have access to all replay streaming from official websites of uk channels. -

I have (had?) an account with tvchaosuk.com for a few years
I can log-in but then I get a 'permission denied' message suggesting I contact them. There is no way I can find to contact them.

I will certainly let you know. I have just sent them an email outlining the problem - the contact address says they only deal with lost usernames/passwords/ I hope they pick up on my 'permission denied

Well there is news and there is news.
My account was reinstated yesterday. Apparently you have to be 'active' (which they say is downloading, not just signing in) within two weeks of joining and and move up the user scale within 4 weeks. I did none of those.
So I risk losing the account permanently because it will be my second time of offending. If you thought this site was strict, that site would qualify for 'BDSM'
So what does it offer? What it says on the tin - almost exclusively UK TV programmes.
You may spot a hitch here for me. I live in the UK with access to a television, two DVRs. a catchup service and the BBC iPlayer. I looked through the first seven pages of torrents and there wasn't one that I wanted to watch that I hadn't already watched or recorded.
So I think it's really only useful for overseas lovers of British TV (and why wouldn't you) or expat Brits who won't need it when they are forced to return to the UK after a British exit from the EU ;D
