It was at least 10 years ago, and I think it was this oneâdepicted in the first two images.
I bought it for Five Variants of "Dives and Lazarus" after hearing it on the radio broadcast from the local classical music stationâŠ
Itâs one of the few classical albums I have that isnât a compilation of music by various artists, that I really like; and that, along with Antonin DvorĂĄkâs "Symphony No. 9, From the New World" being a couple of my favorites of the genre.
Coincidentally, both are by Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, conducted by Sir Neville Marrinerâsad, and ironically, while on-line putting together this post, I just saw that he recently passed away...
