In my top 3 best gay themed movies. In fact, it was the first gay oriented movie I ever watched. For some weird reason it was shown on tv. It was late night, but I was amazed at how good it was (and still is) ❤

I especially like the part when they are fooling around in the woods after they went to a gay bar and the background music "Make your own Kind of Music" is just awesome

                  ….. classically 1990's

The story will still stand today in the 21st century. The two stars have a "Beautiful Thing" reunion back in 2013

It's a very sweet movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I don't know how anybody could like it.

Are you serious? While it may not be "Oscar nominee good" it's a classic gay film.

If this is one of the worst films you've ever seen can I ask you to recommend a good film?

One of my fave gay themed movies. It's actually based on a stage play and the part of Ste (the neighbor boy) was originated on stage by Jonny Lee Miller.

You are right  :). It was first premiered at Bush Theater on July 28, 1993 with Mark Letheren as Jamie and Jonny Lee Miller (Angelina Jolie's ex husband) as Ste
