What book are you reading now?
-
Sci Fi - Greg Bear, Queen of Angels
Not about queens
Hard scifi, nanotech, detective stories, AI, yeah I'm a geek… grin -
Re-reading the Czech classic "The Good Soldier Švejk" by Jaroslav Hašek (yeah, the Czechs can make a name for themselves in something other than porn) (though, I must say, they were a pretty slutty part of Austria-Hungary's army in World War I).
I know just a little about traumatic brain injury, shell shock, and other horrors of war. Long live Å vejk, Joseph Heller's Yossarian, and other good soldiers!

I'm reading among other stuff the 3rd book of the gay life of Edmund White : The farewell Symphony.
-
A Prelude to Dune - House Harkonnen (again) I do like a big, involved story.

David Means - Assorted Fire Events

Once Were Warriors - Alan Duff, a classic New Zealand novel about Maori life in NZ. There's also a film based on it. It's pretty heavy going.
