People get too hung up on girth and length.
Females claim that they prefer girth and length does not matter.
In males, the prostate is only less than 2 inches inside their ass, so again length does not matter.
Girth matters, because that is what people are going to feel, and is a problem when too thick and hurting the bottom.Personally, I think by far the most important thing is functionality, not size. A hard 4" cock that shoots cum is far better than a semi-hard 8" cock that does not shoot cum.
