Is this site dead?

This site isn't "dead". It got the largest amount of uploads available from the gay sites I know, with daily most new additions.
However, this site is a regular service, responding to copyright takedown notices.

I currently have 7 torrents from one of those studios on my wish list. I put them there after two of my own torrents had been deleted and I wanted to see if these would disappear - they didn't. Some of them don't have the studio name in the title so you may find some just searching on the movie title. (yes, I know that is a pain but…)
But I agree that some studios seem to disappear very quickly. Perhaps a good reason to check the list regularly.
And don't forget there are other gay torrent sites with freeleech or no ratio policies

I agree that this site isn't as good as it used to be in terms of content selection. Certain litigious studios were unofficially 'banned' for a long time, but after the Megaupload seizure and temporary site closure, that list grew significantly to encompass a lot more mainstream studios. It seems that the admins and certain mods half want a completely legal website that they won't get in trouble for running and half want a website that directly facilitates copyright infringement. Don't get me wrong; I'm very grateful for this service and the personal risk associated with running it, but the primary purpose of this site is very obvious so I question the effectiveness of this transparent pretence of legal compliance. Luckily, there are websites and forums that have picked a side, closed the doors to those who are against what they are doing and have the content you mentioned readily available.

I've found that this site is best when you have a generalized category of porn you want, not something super specific. Sometimes its not on here, in which case it is fun to upload it for others to have. Also I can't grasp how you could possibly have had any issues uploading to this site, the Quick Torrent Maker is super easy to use. If you have an idea of what you are looking for post it, and people such as myself who have a list of places we know content is besides here may be able to help.

Like other people have mentioned it's not dead at all. There are new uploads every day but of course there's always the copyright issues…

I meant, it is hard to upload for ratio (hard to upload a downloaded torrent to maintain a good ratio).

I really have enjoyed this site, though I don't really come here to discuss or socialize, but I felt they have always had a larger selection then most of the other torrent sites. I think it's a great site when it comes to having a variety of niche videos and I love that they have many videos from defunct sites that I was too young or too broke to purchase from years ago. What I love most is that the torrents have images attached to them which helps me find what videos I like/want quicker.

Search words "raging", "falcon", "lucas", "helix", or any of the other big studio names comes up with nothing (or nearly nothing). Tried searching by porn actors' name. Nothing.
My biggest frustration with this site is that people upload videos with titles that often have nothing to do with the content and do not include the production studio and actors names. Another complaint is that a lot of the uploads are really poor quality/resolution.
I find the guys in Staxus videos really attractive, but the direction and cinematography make my dick limp so I try not to waste time downloading them. If the studio info was available I would know to stay clear.
Discover a pornstar that gets your juices flowing? What the f@#k is his name, and if you figure it out, searches give crappy results because the name is not included in other torrents.
Grrr.

Maybe because uploaders are wary of DCMA takedown ?
Anyway, just found out this site was offering 72 hours of freeleech, so decided to come here and see if I could find some of the torrents I still need to download. Is this site dead? Search words "raging", "falcon", "lucas", "helix", or any of the other big studio names comes up with nothing (or nearly nothing). Tried searching by porn actors' name. Nothing.
Have you tried the regular torrents because you only just mentioned freeleech? If you type "falcon" then ticked off the box "Torrent name" and "torrent description" (Where to search portion), it will show results.

I have tried using other torrent services, but still find this one to be one of the best.

very much alive :). those are big studio names so theyre very concerned with copyright issues and as such are very vigilant and active in trying to take down uploads
