Who remembers Queer As Folk?

Just treated myself to the full boxset, i miss that show, it was how i bonded with some people in college.
-
Just adored Randy Harrison in the US version…damn he was hot!!!!

-
Brian and Justin were great but I always had a soft spot for Michael

I fondly remember being a child and pretending to be asleep when mum would check on me before bed, I'd wake up and turn the TV way down and watch it, paranoid she'd wake up. I felt so scandalous!

Randy Harrison is starring in the road show company of Cabaret that is touring now. He's playing the Master of Ceremonies.

It helped a lot of questionning gay guys ! It was such a great show !!! :cry2:
-
Im going to watch it

probably one of the first softcore gay scenes I've ever jacked off too…still remember that handjob scene. so hot.

_Are there any other so good series out there?
;)_

Never watched it because I'm not so into dramas.
-

Drama?
I don't remember it as a big drama..

Recently finished the american version a few months ago.

UK version is more of light comedy coz there are scenes which is supposed to be somber (like the funeral scene) but still they've injected humour in it…..
Although the US version is great, I prefer the UK version.....

I still need to watch the US version, worth a watch?

Hard to forget QaF. I think it really gave another dimensions to TV shows in general and especially to the gay genre. Unabashed, witty and stylish.
-
the us version came out around the same time i did!
-
Ow, I miss Emmett Honeycutt. I loved him so much! The series wouldn't have been that entertaining if he hadn't been there.

Love the show. The British original is brave, but the American version offered us the alternative dramatic and sensible aspect of homosexuals in the 2000s.
