Trimmed or smooth, more clean for me and I don't think no hair make you less manly (but an hairy woman for me it's not attractive ^^)

It depends whether the guy is Caucasian or Asian... Caucasian guys - some of them have not much hair in their body and some have brown hair which does not look that bad than a Asian guy with full black hairy body...
