Frankly they are using their bodies the same way a manual laborer does and to many of them fucking with a guy vs. fucking with a woman is the same as shoveling a ditch or chopping firewood. In terms of false hope, I mean the vast majority of people are never going to get to fuck the people they lust after in porn videos anyway, so any hope they have is probably pretty false.

and just to add to what Valicore said, regardless of their sexuality, the guys are usually nothing like they appear in the movie/scenes in real life. It's a scripted fantasy and the actor (straight or gay) is really just an "ACTOR."
I've seen actors who play the butchest tops, interview and be the biggest Queens you can imagine. I've seen exclusive bottoms on film turn out to be versatile tops in real life..
