      @aadam101:

      I'm not a fan of either.   I've never been a drinker.   I don't even drink coffee.

      Oh boy, but is not for the drinking. We drink for the feeling of the drink, that sweet bitterness that fills your mouth and makes you do weird faces. And enjoy those weird drinks with friends. With a coffee or a beer or a wine, always comes a nice chat

        Good beer (ale) as brewed by the smaller independent breweries. Straight from the cask and hand pulled - not gassed up.

              None, I'm a teetotaler.

              Ditto.

                If I just want to get drunk, a cheap red plonk will do it for me. 'Rumpole of the Bailey' taught me the fine word 'plonk'. Tho, he usually calls his reds 'clarets'. But, I find I truly prefer a fine beer, which I am much more likely to find comparatively affordable. A triple sour bock–devine. A double chocolate stout--heaven. IPA's from just about any source that has a clue--yummy. But, dear God, don't go ruining these things by making them too cold! Sure, by all means, nearly freeze yr fucking Bud, because that shit is so wretched, you need the cold to hide how horrible it is. I actually discovered this by accident in High School. It's a carbonated alcohol delivery system that is awful when not near freezing. It ain't exactly beer. Mind, America makes some of the finest beer in the world. Go find an Arrogant Bastard, one of the best beers in the world. Top 20. It's not even that expensive. You'll thank me, eventually 🙂 And, no, I actually live in Austin where we know beer. Like Seattle. Denver..... Any number of places in this country where you can find excellent brew. Try 'em  :cheers:

                          Depends what kind of beer and what kind of wine. I generally enjoy red wine and classic beer like Bud Lite and Coors. Really just depends on my mood…  🙂

                                Definitely wine.

                                Beer tastes just like piss to me (although I've never tried piss but you get the point).

                                And yes I've tried "premium" beers as well. The only sort of palatable beer I've tried is La Trappe. Cant remember which one exactly but it was red-ish.
