Although there is not a tits bit of difference between 8.1 and 10, I would still go with 10 because Microsoft tends to punish people who don't keep their operating system current.

Follow the link I provide to stop all the spying that Microsoft does within Windows. Great Info provided.

It's fairly easy to avoid the tracking as long as you BOTHER reading when you install and when configuring the device which most people don't do.

**True, but most people do not even read this information. This is what gets them into trouble. **

It's kind of creepy the kind of thing that Microsoft is pushing on all their customers. My only question is how do you deal with these configurations when you get a brand new computer from a big box store with an OEM copy of Windows 10 pre-installed? Is there any way to change these settings after the fact that the os has been installed, with these added options, no doubt?

I've never had a problem with windows 10, once i turned off peer to peer that is.

I agree, I do not have any problem either, I just had to stop all the area that they had spyware and other things that followed me around. Once I did all these, Windows 10 has been pretty great otherwise.

I too am using Windows 10 with no problem.
