Running is a bit of a weird one, even oprah has run marathons along with many other much larger people who run long distances daily (not with the greatest times). Some running styles that push hard will burn a lot of calories but you can't start pushing that hard until you have built up foundation in your legs or shin splints will take you out. Obstacle courses, paint ball, laser tag etc can break up your running and make it more dynamic and safer and also more fun. Lifting heavy will fire up your basal metabolism so you burn more calories at rest - but focusing on intense cardio is faster, both combined would be fastest.

Consume less than 1500 kCal per day. Exercise at least 30 minutes  per day. Don't eat after 7 p.m. Can you do that?

You shouldn't lose weight in a short time period, it's unhealthy and you will lose a lot of muscle along with fat.

                  Think about this…
Did you gain the weight in a short time, usually the answer is no!

So don't think about losing weight in a short time or you will gain back more.

Losing weight in a short time is usually more muscle and water loss than fat.
Eat less each meal and start exercising.

90% of weight loss will come from eating less at first exercise will help you body change but not that quickly.

Look for a free few apps to count the calories and help you focus on eating less.
Since Jan 1 I have lost 8 kilos, about 18 pounds by watching what I am eating and increasing exercise.

                  Good luck

Swimming, eating 4-6 times/day, and removing some minor things like coke, bread, milk, etc

Go for a fibrous diet and keep your mind off eating. Exercise daily. Btw I lost 44 pounds when I broke my heart and went on to depression…

definitely not running , most people have their own idea of what overweight is , so go by BMI , even though BMI is flawed
if you're in the 'obese" range no running at all , it will destroy your knees , first loose weight with a good balanced diet , some cycling swimming and then light running

What you lose "in a short time" is easier to get back again in a shorter time.
I've lost weight with a proper diet (less sugar, almost no fats, less carbs and zero alcohol and drinks) and some walking everyday (I hate work out), hope my experience can help someone  😉

Thank you.  That does help.  I believe a lifestyle change works best.  It might work more slowly, but it better in the long run.

Here in Brazil people usually drink "green tea". They say it really helps loosing weight.

Wrong.  Your body needs milk - doesn't have to be whole milk, 1 or 2% is fine, but you can NOT cut it out completely or else your bones will go brittle.  There's a reason vegans are among the most unhealthy people on earth.  And seriously, no coffee, but tea is okay?  LOL!  It's a well known fact that caffeine raises your metabolism.  The delivery method is of little consequence.

I lost 70lbs in about a year by simply cutting out high sugar crap like soda and candy, and walking 2-3 miles twice a week.  I changed nothing else.  I used to be WAYYYY into the obese range on the BMI scale (6' 285), and now at 215lbs I am back into the "just overweight" category.  I hope to drop another 20 by Christmas.  I now have an 18 month old niece and twin nephews on the way, and I want to be able to keep up with them. 🙂

                                    Double Wrong .
You can get good calcium ratio as long as you compensate your daily intake with other product ( or better buy a 3 dollar bottle of calcium from 21st century , or Now ).
Milk is not needed in adult at all, many people are lactose intolerant in south countries and dont drink or eat milk product.
in my country the milk industry is a huge lobby and try to put in the mind of people they must drink milk or eat milk products. many scientific studies have been made that shows it's crap for adults. And because we got so many advertisements from the milk lobby it annoys our scientists so they broadcast quite often shows about health and doctors try to tell the population they should'nt believe all the ads as it's scientifically incorrect to believe milk is essential for adults.
you get calcium in brocoli, red and white beans, salmon, cauliflower, sardines,(you get more calcium in sardine than in yoghurt and cheddar cheese for same weight it's 3 times more ),whole wheat bread, spinach, and product that are enriched with calcium such as orange juice. just google stuff like " is milk essential" "milk myth" etc..
Edit :oh yeah Taboi is an american so of course they drink lots of milk in glasses and have huge jar of milk in refrigirators etc..that's a cultural thing more than something that has to do with any recent scientific research, and of course, white americans arent lactose intolerant so they don't know much about how to live without milk..

First of all, you want to take a snarky poke at me for being American,  :cens:. I bet I can make allllll sorts of generalizations about you.  Second of all, there's a reason the US has lower osteoporosis rates than the rest of the world - we drink milk. Europe has less than twice our population, yet they have three times more women and 5 times more men with osteoporosis. And just because you found some shit on the interwebz doesn't make it gospel.  There's plenty of fucking retards that swear up and down that 9/11 was an inside job and post all sorts of "proof" on the interwebz for other fucking retards to gobble up. Doesn't mean shit.  Find me one of these "studies" that wasn't done by some idealist doctors or eco-terrorists.

Getting essential vitamins and minerals from "supplements" and "enriched" processed foods - which account for pretty much every example you gave aside from the vegetables (which you'd have to eat like a pound of beans/broccoli/kale/etc daily to get the recommended amount of calcium) is NOT how the human body is supposed to work. Sardines?  Your "wonder source"?  Yeah that little can also has the same amount of saturated fat and twice the calories as a glass of milk (plus a whopping 500mg of sodium to help with your stroke), but provides only 4% of your calcium.   Salmon?  HAH!!  A salmon filet contains less than 1% of your RDA. A single 8oz glass of milk provides 30%.

So go ahead and shovel me another one.

I would recommend a drastic change, I moved to Taiwan where it is very hot and the food is very different and my weight went down almost by itself. I worked out before too.

I don't recommend losing weight fast. You don't want to be left with loose skin. Go slowly day by day.
