I wonder what people use as lubricant back in 18th Century. I mean, the dildo was made from leather and wooden tip. It would be painful without any oil.
I'm sure they sourced oil from somewhere. More importantly, I hope they had access to sandpaper. Wouldn't want any splinters >.<

nice, they used things like lard, pigs fat etc. You have to remember the people back then could handle much more than people of today can handle. My great grandmother and grandmother still shocks me, on the things that you had done and gone through. Can you image today's man or woman carrying pail of water for miles, or washing clothes in a river bank. If people wanted to eat back then they better hunt or grow there foods and make sure they have enough to last throughout the window. Woman did not go to the doctors to have a baby, they had them at home with the help of a friend or another female family member. No epidural or spinal anesthesia then deal with the pain of child birth. I can not image anyone today doing any of this. I had a small taste growing up but nothing compare to my great grandmother and grandmother. You could not run to the store for things like today, you had to travel miles to get things you may have order a month previous. You made everything yourself.
