I've just downloaded Futokuma 6 and am really pissed about the censorship of this vid.
Apparently (possibly until recently), they don't allow uncensored genitals or pubic hair(!?!) in Japanese porn.
Does anyone know if there is any uncensored Futokuma porn out there?
I'm now really into this guy, and watching all this pixellation is driving me nuts!
And I'm getting bloody sick of squinting at the screen (but then, maybe I just need to develop my imagination…!)

Thats the way in Japan, every movie with visible genitals have some kind of censorship… Try looking for the same movies for USA market. They are censorship free...

It really amazes me that in Japanese videos you can watch torture, rape, and even somthing being inserted into someones ass (finger, dildo, etc) uncensored but genitals have to be masked. Does anyone know the history behind that?

I heard that in Japanese laws that exposure in a film/video of a human genital is illegal. Some uncensored are from the companies do not register their business licences in Japan. Don't know if it is what it is though.

Porn was first seriously restricted in Japan in the Meiji Era, when materials deemed “injurious to public morals” were banned [thanks to the introduction of Victorian morals from the West]. After Japan’s defeat in WWII, American occupation authorities changed many of Japan’s laws to guarantee freedom of speech and expression. Sadly, the occupation authorities decided that the pre-existing law regarding pornography didn’t need to be changed. It has remained in effect to this day.

While the 60 years after World War II saw the acceptance of uncensored pornography as freedom of expression in the West, Japan continued to consider it “injurious to public morals.” One still cannot legally buy a movie featuring fully visible hardcore action.

In recent years it seems that the definition of “injurious to public morals” has been relaxed. Ten years ago, pubic hair was censored: now it is not. In 2005, the American film Kinsey was allowed to air in Japanese theaters uncensored. The scene in which Dr. Kinsey is giving a slideshow of penis/vagina picture made history as the first ever scene showing human genitalia allowed by the censors.¹

Hi family,

This is a very interesting history lesson.  I, too, wondered about this very question.

Just recently I downloaded a vid that had LESS genital censoring [obfuscation] than typical.  It was called http://tracker.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=63503 with a filename of disc1.avi and was wonderful.

This particular torrent was listed under "fetish" with a description of "Japanese Gay Fetish Video!  piss, cum, fuck…"  It was really a video about a cum-sucking glory hole freak [just my type!!!].  The video was about 90 minutes, starting with some set set-up and followed by trailers – lasting 115 minutes in total.  I was really pleased that the censoring was only minor.  Great vid to check out if this is your niche.  Below are two screenshots from this video.

Admittedly, sometimes I really like that things are obscured (like seeing hot guys wearing clothes - yet on another level).  For example, see below for two screenshots from [COAT WEST] MANIAC 8 -SPY CAM-(165m1s).avi.torrent.  Below are two screenshots from another video that provides MORE censorship, yet is still very hot.

It is quite a bizarre censorship policy. As the OP djfurie indicated, Japanese porn has some of the most extreme kinds of material, but it also has some great fetish stuff that I'm into eg wrestling, chubbie and rugby themed porn. Yet cocks are 'masked' but the likes of anal insertions with objects and cum isn't  ???

It is a bizarre law. How can you censor porn? Like come on. You either ban porn or you allow it. Porn is about sexual acts and the last time I checked sex organs play a major role in that kind of acts

It really turns me off, even comics, anime is censored…

The only way to avoid this is to look for videos made outside of Japan. Hope they will change the law someday, preferably sooner than later.

The old videos have heavy mozaic in genitals.
However, the recent ones will only have a blur, and does not really matter if it there or not.
So, the trick is to find the recent ones.

However, the Japan porn's selling point is not from the genital, but the cute asian face and their moan.
