It was me that removed it. I have this thing about people asking for seed bonus points in a torrent upload. When I see it, I remove the begging. Call me a prick if you must, but I just think torrents look better without begging for SBP

Well, my real goal is to garner enough bonus to exchange for an invite. I have a friend who would love this site. And he always maintains a respectable ratio. Once I have that, I'll gladly donate to others in the future.

All members got 4 invites by default, so there should be no need for you to exchange Seed Bonus Points for an extra invite.
In addition only Power User can actually make use of invites and you are not yet Power User.
If I am not mistaken, registration of new accounts is currently open. Even if not, usually it is open the first day of a month, just tomorrow. So tell your friend to try to register tomorrow.

Heck, I wish I'd known about the 1st of the month rule. Every time I came to this site, I just got a message saying it was by invite only.

That is just the result of bogus torrent clients sending on each tracker update (each 30 minutes) "have completed" messages instead of "have all files" messages.

That explains why I've been treated as a social pariah when i enthuse about "Bare Huge Dicks #4" with all those i meet. I figured at least a third of the people i talked to would share my interest, but so far I've only found a couple of old ladies and a few nuns…

Sorry guys but I am totally offended by seed point begging and I see it repeated again and again - "Seed points appreciated…" "Thanking you in advance for your seed points..." etc.
That's not to say I won't gift an uploader for a great or wanted video - as long as there is no request for the gift then I am happy to contribute a fistful of points. Gifting should be MY decision and I shouldn't feel compelled to do so because someone is seemingly putting a price on their download and begging does just that. It makes me feel that if I don't gift the uploader after he has made it clear he needs/could use/wants the points then I'm a bad person. And really, I'm not a bad person at all.
So for me, if you offer a torrent and it is something I want and I don't feel put upon to gift you then you'll probably get some points. I'm here so often that I'll download the video first, watch it, and if its good I come back and throw some points your way.

"totally offended" seems a tad strong.
'appreciated' or 'thanks for seed points' doesn't sound like begging either.
Gifting is YOUR decision but a reminder from the seeder that he could use a few points is no great shakes. Let's face it, few people even say thanks, never mind add a gift.

I never give SB's to anyone who asks for them its so pathetic. If its a good upload I'll give you a bonus. unless you've asked for one.
