Ok so I got the new pop up saying "Your torrent client is not connectable" I read the posts about how to get it connectible but my torrenter isn't on the list on the portforward website. I found how to set up portforwarding from checking around and set it up so it works yet I am still getting the "Your torrent client is not connectable" messege.

      Does anyone have any ideas?

      Using Deluge torrenter on Linux-Mint.

Any firewall that you are running has to allow communications with uTorrent. Check all firewall programs to make sure uTorrent is in the exception list.

Did you click the X on the red message? Not sure exactly how the message works, but I clicked the X in the upper right. The message went away, but then later it came back.

So after you do port forwarding. Close the message out.

Try to disable "Encrypt entire stream" on preferences and see if that works.

@teri40 Unencrypting the stream didn't make an effect.

@LEVI I am not using utorrent as I don't use a windows machine. I am using Deluge and, using hXXp://www.canyouseeme.org/ I can see that the port I am using is not blocked.

Hmmm can you double check if both TCP and UDP ports are not blocked?

Both TCP and UDP are available in the port forwarding.

From reading, other posts on this problem I think the problem might be being caused by my ISP dicking about during peak times which causes some of my torrents to error due to timing out or just not connecting.

If it is that, can you look if all your torrent's from GayTorrent.ru tracker announce URL begin with "https://tracker.gaytor.rent/…" (means with https, without :2710 and with .ru, not .tw)?

If not, can you change all to the https beginning? Then inspection by your ISP of the packets should be difficult (or practically impossible?).
