Is it determined by how many people are on the torrent at one time (S/L) i.e. peers connected?
But then I have one that has more peers connected than this one and it is not on the list.
Just want to learn something new today.

It is the number of peers registered the tracker at the moment. Downloading peers count three times.
rank = seeder + (leecher*3)
