What is the best game you've ever played?

Dark Souls followed closely by Shadow of the Colossus and Metroid Prime.
Apparently I like Desolate Isolation in my games.

The first Tomb Raider, Resident Evil 2 and Shadow of Colossus. I dont like how easy are games nowdays.

I still love playing my favourite Lord of the rings online and also play Runes of Magic sometimes

I need to make a distinction between single and multi player because the gameplay is just too different to compare.
Single player would be The Elders Scroll V: Skyrim. Can you believe I am still playing some of his mods? It is incredible!
Multi Player would be Borderlands, the first one. I find that 2K ruined Borderlands 2 with the "chest" and SHIFT codes, making looting futile and not worthy. With Borderlands 1 I would do loot run in the armory or Crawmerax just for the rare loot, but you cannot get it anymore in Borderlands 2 unless you use the chest, which is hackable. Also, Borderlands 2 story is kinda lame and too much elemental effects, sometime I just go blind!

Final Fantasy X. Although (and I may be hated for this) FFXIII follows closely behind. Also Kingdom Hearts.

When it comes to the best, I would say Final Fantasy VII
I will never forget the feeling when I defeated Emerald Weapon.But now, I fell in love with Kingdom Hearts series.
Currently waiting for KH III on PS4. Final Fantasy 0 will be a good filler while waiting for it -
The Rule Of Rose for PS2. Great graphics (at least it was, for PS2), and a fantastic historyline.

Skyrim held my attention for about a year (wish I could check how many hours I put into it). And I have every intention of returning to it again eventually. The DLC was great, too. Only built one of the DLC houses, though…
I'm trying to get through Dragon Age: Origins so that I can eventually get to the latest installment. Was never exposed to the series until my boyfriend's Inquisition playthrough, and it looks pretty amazing (sans the crafting; it looks unnecessarily complicated).

Depends on the genre. Dragon Age: Inquisition shot to the top for me. Holy crap.
