        Celluloid Closet is my favorite as well. I put it on when I have nothing to do and want to watch something familiar. I've seen all the docs in the top 10 and think its a good list overall.

            Seriously, I just checked this list to see if The Celluloid Closet and Paris is Burning were on there.  But there are some documentaries in this list that I DEFINITELY need to check out.  Thanks, 2222!

            By the way, when I went to see Paris is Burning, there were about 8 people in the theater.  I had no idea it would one day it would one day attain legendary status (much less that straight people would be "throwing shade.)  Smh…

            The goal is to not have heroes.

                        The celluloid closet is the No 1 for me.

                        It was so beautifully done but interesting insights and a very good music. It was a little melodramatic here and there but that makes it even more great to watch.

                        No wonder it's on the top of the list here too.

                                        I saw "Paris is Burning" on VHS in the 90s. My mom rented it. She had no clue what she was getting into. Muhahahaha!
