Themed Movies

I would first like to propose that physique studies be moved to the "softcore" category and be expanded to include films depicting the female and transsexual physique as a show of equality. Currently, only films depicting the male physique may be posted. This move could help solidify the definition of "Themed Movie"

Next, I would like to propose that the category be renamed "LGBTQ THEMED MOVIES". The current name creates some confusion which leads some people to upload fetish films.

My description submissions:

1. LGBTQ Themed Movies: Non-porn, theatrical, feature-length or short films that include a significant plot line devoted to lesbian, gay, bisexual, questioning, or transsexual themes, characters, or both. As stated in the current rules, openly gay actors/directors or secondary gay characters do not fulfill this requirement. Always review the banned material list before uploading.

2. LGBTQ Themed Movies: Non-porn, theatrical, feature-length or short films that include a significant plot line devoted to lesbian, gay, bisexual, questioning, or transsexual themes, characters, or both. As stated in the current rules, openly gay actors/directors or secondary gay characters do not fulfill this requirement. Films that focus primarily on the male physique such as wrestling, bodybuilding, swimwear modeling, or underwear modeling may also be posted in this category. Always review the banned material list before uploading.

Vintage: This surely comes down to the age of the person uploading/downloading/viewing. The suggestion that it be reserved for pre 1990 releases is, IMO, a bit odd. Anything much older than a decade is starting to look creaky and anything pre-2000 is now starting to look ancient. For instance, some Bel-Ami and Hungarian stuff has aged really badly. I've no idea what the age range is here, but putting the Vintage tag only on movies which are now almost 25 years old seems way off the mark, in my opinion. I'd set it at 15 years. The age of an excellent peaty whiskey.

Yeah….scenes or movies 20 years old or more (rather using a specific year as a starting point) is a good compromise. I think 25 years+ is just too high.

I wonder if we really need a special category for professionally produced fake amateur clips. Perhaps it would make sense to drop that category altogether and unite all videos where non-professional people are before and/or behind the camera into a revised "Homemade" category. It could be re-named "Non-professional" or something like that to make the change obvious to all users. (Members' own productions could stay separate or be put in there as well.)

The Amateur category always existed and was always used mainly for the professional studio productions with so called amateur models. The same is valid for the other gay torrent sites. To give a place for the real pure amateur productions with amateur models and without any commercial intention, we've created the "Homemade" category, which is specific to GayTorrent.ru (at the moment).
