Not quite. Being that sexual orientation is a spectrum, usually you use "straight", "gay" or "bi" regarding what you like most, it doesn't mean you don't like the other at all.
That, and then there are platonic relationships. My relation with my best friend, who is straight, is a lot like a relationship sans the sex. It works for us, too.

Some guys confuse the concept of "masculine" and "straight," or think they always go together. They're the ones who use "straight-acting" in personal ads when they mean "masculine," and they're the ones who get the most upset when I point out that if they were really acting straight, they wouldn't be begging for my dick and my load, they'd be fucking a woman instead.
