I have never used that but last year I did discover a great download manager called Internet Download Manager and it downloads almost every streaming video I've seen (it is even able to grab brightcove videos :o). This program, coupled with the IDM firefox extension, does wonders. I liked it so much I bought it

If you don't want to spend the cash, the "DownloadHelper" extension found in Firefox does a pretty good job at times.

I use Firefox DownloadHelper too. I haven't tried Chrome for downloading because back then, there were no extensions for dl streaming vids and I've not yet seen any need to use Chrome for it…

I went to the bananablog link, and I see the guy in black shorts but I don't see anything to "play" a video. Is this a clip or just a photo? If it is a clip, what do I do to make it play? Thanks

Some sites have effective controls to block download helper type applications. I've been to a couple of sites where I've tried a bunch of extensions/tools to try to download, many of which have worked effectively on other sites. If the site operators want to block downloads, chances are, you may spend a lot of time trying, but without any luck.

I'd settle for just being able to play the video right now. I don't see the usual "arrow" in the middle of the screen or any other way to make it play. It just looks like a photo. Thnx
