Is there any specific reason why English is to be used? Doesn't that ignore, or at least complicate, searches made by members for whom English is not the predominate language?
It hasn't stopped anyone yet. All of our torrent category titles are in English and have been all the years I have been on here. I would also say that 95% if not more of our torrent titles and descriptions are in English.
To be fair though, I have snatched some Russian,French and German language torrents. I often have to turn the sound down because not understanding the dialog between sex scenes impedes on my "happy time". So I do understand why you asked the question.

I hear ya. Many times I wish there were subtitles, but then I think "What makes me so special as an English speaker?" If they had to provide subtitles for every language, they'd have to charge us so much more for the extra effort. Oh…wait.... ;D
But seriously, I doubt many of the ones made in America provide French, Spanish, Russian, etc subtitles.

Some symbol like the crossed condom got the advantage not to be close to the "Anal" category picture. I think it is worse to think how to use that contribution in some way …

Then I'm confused as to the rationale for making a change, because if the category picture and its wording have—according to you and danijelr15—worked so well before, why are they being changed now?
Another question: By all appearances the font now used in the categories seems to match each other. I don't see that font represented in the new choices, which means that categories font will not appear as the others do. If the reason is to change the picture, why is the font also being changed?
Will this new font now be used on all of the other categories?

The rationale for making the change is that the current bareback icon has nothing to do with bareback. It's a creepy mustache guy. The proposed new icons have actual pictures of bareback sex.

You are correct in that most of the torrent category picture fonts are the same. None of the newly added ones are though. I personally made the Comic & Yaoi icon and it is a different font. The voyeur icon was made by another mod and it has a different font. The books & magazines icon is not only a different font but a different color.
They are different fonts, not because we wanted to change them but because we just didn't know the font used on the other icons.

It looks like we have a winner! Picture #6 almost doubled the second place picture by racking up a whopping 12 votes!
Now if we can just convince an Admin to change the picture. ::) ;D

I don't like the Category pics for "Anal" or "Solo" either, and it's been annoying me for some time, the anal one looks like a man fucking a woman and needs changing. The solo one looks like a very red/sore bent ugly skinny dick. I would much rather both of these also changed. The current bareback one is by far the worst pic though.

Apparently I was sleeping, or more likely jacking off, and missed the whole "New Bareback Category Picture" vote. This is particularly shameful as I was one of the original proponents for a new icon.
Fortunately, the Powers That Be, didn't need my vote to come up with a FANTASTIC NEW BAREBACK CATEGORY PICTURE. :cheers: All I can say is, "WOW! Well done! Great new icon!" :urock:
