However a question. ... Now is it possible to "re-distribute" them also without downloading a torrent? For example if a torrent is uploaded which i already have however i like the video and wish to encourage seeding such material (shemale..!) or i simply like the uploader if i know him personally, can i say "Thank you" and give points without having to download the torrent in question?

Uwe already answered that question correctly with yes.

But there is another new feature with saying "Thank you" for an upload: Up to now you could only say "Thank you" once, a second thank you was ignored. Now you can say thank you more than once (But the 2nd, 3rd, … time only with seed bonus points (inteded to give more than the max 50 points). This way it is also possible to give a number of points which is not noted in the dropdown box like 100 (2 times 50) or 73 (50, 20, 3 or ...) or give additional bonus points after you watched the video. You will not occur in the thank you list several times but only your given bonus points willI be added to your earlier given "Thank you". This way you can also add additional bonus points to older uploads where you already said Thank you before. I don't know if it is really necessary - but the feature is implemented as well - so you can also use it

Many thanks for the answers. Yes, this is a really useful feature and i highly appreciate it. I even used it already As i got a bunch of points and don't really need to convert them into gigabytes, i believe i could not even get below my minimum ratio with pure downloading, it would take me a year at least with zero upload and full-speed download I rather keep uploading, it really feels good to have a three-digit ratio.

I'm asking myself what will happen if a torrent is deleted because the uploader didn't finish the upload (or for any other reason) with the seed bonus point he got from the leechers of that torrent…? If he still get them then i'm gonna give the seed bonus points after i got the whole torrent file and not like i do now at the beginning.. so i hope that he will not get the bonus points he got from the leechers...

If your considering giving many of your seed bonus points to another person, you might want to check their profile first because they might not even need them or care. I say this because you might have only a few hundred like me, and be giving your points to someone who has over 4000 or more. I just saw one torrent like that in which the total given so far was 225 by all the members, and the poster has over 4000 points. He is either saving them, or doesn't even monitor them.

Well of course their isn't anything wrong with doing this if you want, I just simply wanted to make everyone aware of this, especially if you don't have many bonus points and want to give out many of your points to members with lower totals. But some members profiles can't be viewed. Just a thought.

I have enough points thats not the problem, but i wanna know what happens with those points i gave for uploading a torrent and the uploader does not finish the upload…

It will still go into his bonus account even he doesn't finish uploading later.

He will receive a warning and have a record that he did not finish an upload(that haven't happened before). If he receives warning like this twice, he will be banned.

And if someone doesn't feel comfortable with giving bonus gift while a user is still uploading, please wait 3 or 4 users finish downloading.

It could be written in a profile at uploaded torrents, just like in search you can see given seed bonus.

As a work around to this issue I just tag all of my torrents with my screenname. If you look at the bottom of my torrents they all say.

By doing this I can do a torrent search for cumeaternc and get the seed bonus information as well as sort them by most seeded, show my dead or dying torrents and many other things. It's not the solution to your request but it is a viable workaround until we can get it added to the user profile section.

Do a search for cumeaternc now and see what I mean. Don't check any of the criteria boxes though.

Directly below the "Download" button for the torrent file is a button that says "Say thank you!", and to the right of that one is a drop-down menu where you can select how many seedbonus points you want to give when you press Thank you.

I know this topic has been inactive for a long time, but I am trying to do this exact thing, gift an existing user some of my Seed Bonus Points but the feature doesn't seem to exist anymore. Can this still be done?

@mancini24 there's never been a "gift feature" like you are imagining, the original post refers to the "say thank you" feature, where you can gift seedbonus to the uploader of a torrent. If you want to gift it to someone in particular you need to know of a torrent uploaded by them
