I have a fine ratio and regularly support this site by staying connected and helping to seed other uploads. I also support this site with uploads directly to members for reposting to this site in an effort to improve their own ratios. When I look through the directories I see a great many of my files uploaded by friends I've made here and supplied directly through FTP methods. Perhaps raphjd is frustrated because I no longer donate cash in support of this website. I donate to other websites because I want to see them flourish and respect their efforts.
This is a private site benefiting those who run it, not the supporters per se much less the uploaders. Without uploaded product they don't have much to offer. I see many members have moved on to other more popular and friendlier gay torrent websites.
My question has been answered. Uploaders are not rewarded directly for their efforts other then the self-satisfaction of giving to others. I will spread the good word.

I can't recall any members only sites that gives you something extra for uploading things, 'cept thanks from other members and better ratio.

I've never heard of a site that pays people to upload.
I wonder what kind of system they have that they can be able to do that. The costs are very high running a torrent site, so they must be making a ton of money in some way.

It would behoove private sites to say to the uploader, "Bring your file here, seed it successfully, and we'll bestow an additional set of points on you to encourage a steady stream of files being made available and making our site the most popular.
in another thread you claimed to have a 9meg connection, i'm assuming that's download only.
generally, that would mean you should have at least 1meg up. right?
if so, you shouldn't need any "rewards".
i know you had issues with your connection or client set up in the past, solve them and sharing should be a non issue.
learn how to set up your connection properly, start an upload before you go to bed, and when you wake up it will be seeded.
i bet you can upload about twice as fast as you have been.
you should be able to surf the web and have fast downloads while uploading at 80-90% of your line capacity.
my last upload, 1.1GB, seeded in a few (maybe 6) hours with a 1meg upload connection set at 92KB (it goes haywire if i set it around 100KB, speed tests show 950-1000kbps
)
it doesn't take much effort to seed a torrent here.
or maybe you are not getting the service you are paying for?

Nope, I'm frustrated with your constant bitching about this site while you are still getting downloads from us. If you hate this site as much as you repeatedly claim, then leave.
I am unpaid staff, therefore I do not care whether you donate.
