I'm new, got my first torrent uploaded and more to come this weekend, but the one I wanted to download most never starts…it says 4 peers, but it never starts downloading even though I have downloaded other files (https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=e18fa7c62c6ddd5ee64a780034f6e407299085bcbfeea36a)

I think my ratio is decent (working on it!) so I don't think it's that.

Are torrents like this one a lost cause? Do you think it will eventually download? Or is there something I should do differently?

      Thanks!

        Hello,

There are seeders so it's definitely not a lost cause, most likely there's something wrong on your side or you just need to wait a bit more.

You are totally right, a few hours ago it spontaneously started downloading and if all goes well it'll be done in a few hours!!

sometimes your internet is blocking it. go to other IP address and try it again and again. also it works on some hours.

Sometimes there are peers but you can't connect to them for whatever reason, something not on  your end.  You can wait for a peer to show up that you can connect to.  One way to ensure that happens quickly is to make a torrent freeleech.  That has never failed for me.
