Rip Taylor, 84, RIP
-
RIP, Rip. This gentleman was a comedian and acting pioneer back in times when gay had to be suggested, not overtly recognized.
His performing credits are varied and impressive, but I never knew (until now) that he was the voice of son Elroy on the original 1960s cartoon classic, The Jetsons.
Rip's trademarks included his abundant and elegantly shaped mustache, and his toupee, which he often removed during performances and interviews.

I can remember watching him on TV as a kid. I saw his show in Las Vegas back in the late 80s.
