Agree. This can happen a lot. Be aware of it, and don't expect it to work out the way you expect every time. Although, I was with a couple once where it was basically me with one guy while his partner watched, and they seemed to enjoy that, so… whatever works.
As marky said, just relax and enjoy it, and see what happens.

Remember that there will be a balance where the three of you will play together, sometimes you will be the star of the show sometimes the other two will me more into each other at a certain time, just accept that threesomes have their own dynamic.
I find that taking time and playing for a long time help because all participants can drift in and off the threesome
