College girl flushes emo support hamster so she can catch her flight

Last Thanksgiving, a college girl wanted to go home for the weekend. She ended up flushing her emotional support hamster down the toilet so she could catch her flight. Now she's suing the airline.
No charges have been brought against her for animal cruelty.

I see 2 glaring things here.
1. Clearly, she made it up that her hampster was an emo support or she wouldn't have killed it so easy to get some turkey.
2. If it a guy had done it, he would have been charged with animal cruelty.
