Syrian Court Sentences Ex-President Bashar Assad to Death

A Syrian court sentenced ousted leader Bashar al-Assad to death on Tuesday, convicting him of crimes committed during the country’s nearly 14-year war, including arbitrary arrests, killings, and torture.
The trial took place in absentia because he fled to Russia after he was granted political asylum.

I hope that 'someone' catches up to him in russia, just like Ukraine is doing to russian generals and so on.
