"UK early release of 70,000 criminals leads to record high rate of recidivism"

      https://humanevents.com/2026/08/03/uk-early-release-of-70000-criminals-leads-to-record-high-rate-of-recidivism

Labour's early prison release scheme has come under fire after official figures showed reoffending has reached its highest level on record,

Around 25,000 offenders reoffended, committing more than 127,000 additional offences.

The figures come after Prime Minister Andy Burnham was forced to pause the latest phase of Labour's highly controversial early release program, introduced by ex-PM Sir Keir Starmer, following backlash from the wife of PC Andrew Harper, whose killers were tipped for early release. Since the scheme began in September 2024, almost 70,000 prisoners have been released early

They promised that they would not early release violent criminals, so guess what they are doing. YEP, they are releasing violent criminals early.

They need to make room for people who make mean posts and protest against illegal migrants.

The police said they are going after people who make nazi salutes regarding illegals, but did nothing about the leftists who made nazi salutes regarding jews. They still claim the UK has free speech and there is no 2 tier policing.

@raphjd But reform says, 1. stop speech arrests & 2. send non-native criminals out of UK. Then, 3. UK overcrowding goes away. No need for early release.

          point 2 - https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/40011025/nigel-farage-deport-foreign-criminals-hellhole-prisons/

It's good news. Sun wants it to sound bad. But it's good.

UK shouldn't keep foreign criminals, and is "hellhole" (Sun word) if UK tries to. "Import the Third World, Be the Third World"

Pakistan, among many others, refuses to take its criminals back, while having its hands out for more UK welfare.

The European Court of Human Rights (and UK judges, generally) care more about the foreign criminals living the good life than they do about the people in the UK.

Reform and Restore both want to end foreign "aid" to countries that refuse to take back their criminals. They both want to leave the ECHR for countless rulings against the UK, while allowing other countries the other countries to protect their citizens. They also want to limit the appeals for illegals, but especially criminal illegals. I know, the very last bit is kinda redundant.
