That would be great, especially if it had a high budget and awesome special effects. Plus a very good story also.

I like Star Trek Next Generation, because most episodes have both sci-fi and human dimensions.
I'm not at all interested in the Star Wars franchise--too much special effects blowing things up with only the vaguest hint that there are humans involved.

Star Trek: TNG was great, loved Q and the Borg. I also loved Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, great actors just like in Babylon 5 and the Star Gate shows.
Do you like Babylon 5 or any of the Stargate tv series? I loved Babylon 5, Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis. They had announced a brand new Stargate tv series but it's already been cancelled. The studio wanted it to be darker, but apparently the writer did not want a darker series. I think a darker series would have been very cool, especially because we have so many mellow overall happy series out there like Star Trek: TNG and it could be great in a different way.

Battlestar Galactica will forever be my favorite (even if I didn't really like the ending). X-Files of course is an all time classic. The Outer Limits was also pretty good.

I enjoyed The Outer Limits, forgot about that one. Never got into X-Files. Do you like the original BSG or the newer version? I liked both of them, but Apollo from the original BSG - I was in lust with him for sure, lots of laughs = Richard Hatch.
