FDA gets "own goal" fact-checking RFK Jr

RFK Jr said on Tucker's show and elsewhere that the FDA gets "half or nearly half of its drug division's budget from the pharma industry".
The FDA fact-checked him and said they only get 47% of their drug division's budget from the pharma industry.
I know liberals will claim that he was wrong based on some mental gymnastics but I say he's right because 47% is nearly half.

what keeps everyone honest.Economists talk about "regulatory capture". where corporations get regulators to work for them.
Corporations often do it with booze, prostitutes, "revolving door" - regulators who play ball are rewarded a few years later with company jobs that pay well.
With FDA, MHRA etc. it's even worse: companies supply giant chunks of actual budget. Direct capture.
To make it real: Covid mess.
FDA & MHRA have pushed FAILED, crappy, but "under patent" drugs & vaxx products for covid.......... rather than cheap easy stuff that would truly help people - like losing weight, vitamin D, & letting doctors give off-label drugs.
Mess seems hopeless right? BUT - no matter how big mess gets - All you have to do is expose the bastards.
Exposure is both cure & deterrence.
"Exposure" as in, FREE SPEECH. Whistleblowers. Undercover journalists. Wild internet memes. Stolen documents "from Russsshhhia!!!!! (not)" - And so on.
