US vets have been screwed for decades. You might remember, but Obama gave them an extremely harsh butt fuck.
Vets lose benefits so illegals can get more. NY state defunded a lot of the first responder and vet programs so they could spend the money on illegals. This was in the last few years. I posted about it when it happened.
Maybe if your side would stop favoring illegals and Ukrainians over Americans, there'd be more money for vets and the poor.

@lololulu19 And Buttigieg. The problem with that video is he is talking about proposed increases to the budget. The US military budget is already huge. While Republicans focus on increasing spending for their friends in the Military Industrial Complex, Democrats focus on salaries and benefits for Veterans. This started with Reagan (something I know about because my father was a disabled vet at that time).

You need to look at how bad Obama-Biden fucked soldiers and vets, before you claim Dems support them.
It's like how Dems claim they support HBCs while giving them the biggest funding cuts under Obama-Biden.
Trump undid the shit Obama-Biden did to the funding of both. In fact, Trump gave them the biggest boost of any President.

@raphjd You are wrong. They all spend massive amounts on the military, and the President has nothing to do with the budget. That's Congress. He just signs the bill.
But if you look at bills that designed to aid service members (pay and benefits) and vets (services), Republicans have a history of blocking or trying to reduce them. They usually get shamed into eventually passing them though (eg Jon Stewart).

If the President has nothing to do with the budget, then you need to explain Biden's demands that he get more and more money to send to Ukraine.
Sure, Presidents don't have total control of the budget, but they do get put forward their version. When their party is in power, the President has almost total control of the budget.

Also, Mayor Adams is slashing his budget for NYC because of the cost of the illegal crisis created by liberals. You don't need to have libraries when you have illegals, or some such shit.
