Sam Melia was convicted of "causing and/or inciting racial hatred" for selling anti-illegal immigration stickers online.
Hamoud Al Soaimi was sentenced to 2 years in prison, suspended, for raping a 13yo girl because he didn't know rape was illegal. On the sex offender registry for 10 years. Like all western legal doctrine, ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless you are muslim.
