You'd think after WW2, Germany would have at least changed the name "Luftwaffe".

They didn't. First, from Wikipedia just now:

      Yup.

Next - Turns out Germany Luftwaffe would love to resume their 1942 campaign of Eastern Front bombing in Crimea.

To be clear: In WW2, Ukraine & Russia were both part of Soviet Union - but when Germany invaded, many Ukraine peeps rose up & sided with Nazi Germany, to be against Russia.

What happens today, only continues same war from 80 years ago.

Germany allied to Nazi elements in Ukraine, look to expand eastward. Russia is in the way, opposes Nazis.

"Germany has accused Russia of leaking an intercepted call between German military officials on how to support Ukraine in the war...."

        https://humanevents.com/2024/03/04/leaked-call-reveals-german-military-officials-discussing-shipping-long-range-missiles-to-ukraine-to-hit-targets-in-crimea

NOTE: Germany doesn't deny. They only go "WAAAAAaaaaahhh! It's not fair to expose us!"

We've seen it before. Standard Lib-Nazi tactic.

In 2016 when Wikileaks exposed Hillary..... Dems never denied one bit of their (& her) many crimes. Dems only went "Ruuusshia!!"

Germany has confirmed the authenticity of the call and has launched an investigation into what it called an act of eavesdropping by Russia.

As if mutual spying isn't 100% normal. smh

In the call, German Air Force Chief Ingo Gerhartz spoke with three high-ranking Luftwaffe officials on the possible delivery of the missiles, an act that Chancellor Olaf Scholz has rejected.

Again: Luftwaffe eager to bomb Crimea.

But OK, we can give credit to Scholz who said no - THIS TIME.

"The recording itself says that within the Bundeswehr, plans to launch strikes on Russian territory are being discussed substantively and concretely," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"Here we have to find out whether the Bundeswehr is doing this on its own initiative. Then the question is: how controllable is the Bundeswehr and how much does Scholz control the situation?"
