Malware in games

Lately, it seems like every game posted here is infected with malware. I always create a restore point before installing these games, so when I run them for the first time and the malware alerts go off, I am able to go back before the program modified my system files.
I doubt the people making these games are doing so to install malware on people's computers, but that is possible. I think someone is intentionally infected the executables with malware that is extremely difficult to get rid of unless you created a restore point.
I have enjoyed some games posted here, especially Medieval Times, but lately these games are quite risky to install.

@raphjd I do, but lately it is ALL games being posted, not just the occasional one.
I have downloaded the last 2 infected games from another source and will be testeing them out soon. Then we will know if the games are infected to begin with, or someone is modifying them and THEN uploading them here.
